Fun at the farm

June 23, 2014 04:30 pm | Updated 04:30 pm IST

I have a farm near Karimnagar, where there are lots of trees. There are lots of fruits in these trees. Every time I go there I play outside till my face turns red. Two other children named Nikhila and Archana stay at the farm and I play with them as well. Some of my other friends also visit me there.

There are many other animals and birds at the farm such as dogs, cows, goats, rabbits, ducks, and geese among others. I would cycle around the farm as I have a lot of fun. On other days, I watch Spiderman on TV.

I walk our dogs, Blacky and Whitey, daily. When they run I have to let go of the leash and my father would hold them. There was a tortoise in the tank, but it disappeared one day. It was raining that day and we haven’t been able to find it. I am still searching for it. The geese are scared when we go near them. Once I made them eat chilli, but for them, it’s not spicy.

Our watchman, Mallesham tied a rope from one of the branches of a tree and made a swing. Mallesham milks the cows at the farm and we drink that milk. His wife cooks chicken well, with lemon and less spice.

I eagerly wait for the summer holidays every year to go to the farm and have a great time.
