From my backyard

August 21, 2014 05:15 pm | Updated 05:15 pm IST

I wander in my backyard

To see the birds,

I see a Robin

Perched atop a high tree,

Oh ! There are so many birds

Pigeons, doves and crows

There might even be a Hornbill, who knows?

Sparrows so cute

Mynahs chirping as if

It was sweet music

Coming from a flute

Oh! There are so many birds

Which I cannot differentiate from one

But if trees are being cut down

There may be none!
