Enjoyable summer

July 08, 2013 05:25 pm | Updated 05:25 pm IST

At the beginning of the vacation, as it always is, every child in our school had a big, bright smile on their faces with the burden of holiday homework seemingly a faraway thought.

This summer was fun and I enjoyed it a lot. I took up tennis and swimming. Initially I didn’t like going for tennis but a couple of sessions later I began to like it. I now wish I could continue going for it. Swimming was unique and I liked playing in the water.

I spent the rest of the summer playing with the children in my neighbourhood, finishing my holiday homework and watching movies.
