Quiz time folks. The best of quizzing — The Hindu Young World quiz is back. The action begins on October 21.

It's that time again to charge your brain cells and practise your reflexes to hit the buzzer as fast as you can, because The Hindu Young World Quiz is back!

The 2010 edition of the NIE initiative is all set to roll out from October 21, and you can be assured that its going to be an even grander affair in keeping with your favourite supplement's 20th anniversary. The title-sponsor is Velammal Educationa Trust. The much anticipated quiz will sweep through Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam, Hyderabad, Coimbatore, Salem, Bangalore, Hubli, Mangalore, Kozhikode, Kochi, Thiruvananthapuram, Trichy, Madurai, Puducherry, Tirupati and Chennai.

The battle of the brains will see schools trying to outsmart one another to win the grand cash prize of Rs. 50,000 plus loads of other great prizes at the grand finals to be held in Chennai on November 25. The regional finalists too stand a chance of pocketing a cash prize of Rs. 15, 000. And, it isn't just the participants who will be fighting it out for the prizes, the audience too will have an opportunity to win.
