Be a sport

November 18, 2013 03:24 pm | Updated 03:24 pm IST

During Children’s Day, what got me thinking was how good an experience is a sports meet for children, whose schools don’t have such facilities. On the day of our sports meet, we went to our school with a great joy. There was cricket, volley ball, badminton, kabaddi and kho kho. Cricket is enjoyed by all. Badminton is my favourite sport. I have been playing it for a long time and also won the first prize. I have never played volley ball. My team played well in kabaddi and kho kho. Though we didn’t win in kabaddi, we got second prize in kho kho.

My point is that every school should have a ground and sports facilities so that children can get physical exercise.
