Olympia Merlin Developers, for instance, has tied up with Quintessentially, a lifestyle management and concierge services company, for its project called Reflection.
Chandrakant Kankaria, Director, Olympia Merlin Developers, says, “We are providing these services due to the profile of our clients. All our customers are HNIs (high net worth individuals) who travel extensively and are used to international high-end luxury services provided globally. We wanted them to experience the same quality of luxury services at their doorstep and decided to partner with Quintessentially, a luxury members-only concierge club.”
Kankaria feels that the presence of a concierge service places his project at an advantage. “This strategic alliance with Quintessentially is not just an additional service provided, it’s a lifestyle statement. Every resident of the project will, by default, enjoy membership to the elite club of Quintessentially.”
Talking about the kind of services that will be offered at Reflection, Misthi Bose, Group CEO, Quintessentially Lifestyle, says, “We will be providing any kind of lifestyle service that meets the lifestyle of the resident at Olympia Reflection. All these services will be rendered globally.”
Quintessentially will provide a gamut of services ranging from Networking, The Golden Ticket (availing tickets for shows), Foodie Temptations, Exotic Discoveries, Red Carpets and VIPs, everyday needs and more. Commenting on the need for these services, Bose says, “Time has become luxury for HNIs and ultra HNIs. Today, they are willing to pay for the services that will earn them time."
Apparently, more than the emotional quotient the functional value is as high. The concierge service industry seems to be picking up in India as HNIs and expats increase in India.
Les Concierge Services is another similar service provider with a presence in Chennai.
According to the firm’s website, it services over 600 clients at 1,300 client sites. It claims to provide meaningful on-site work that is focussed on concierge services to over 1. 5 million employees, at over 17 global cities.
In cities like Mumbai and Bengaluru, Quintessentialy has tied up with the Lodha and Embassy groups.
