Honour in Philadelphia

At the annual Tamil Nadu Foundation’s 35th National Convention Memorial Day in Philadelphia, which will be held from May 28-31, at Valley Forge Convention Centre, King of Prussia, Philadelphia (email: convention@tnfusa.org; www.TNFUSA.org/convention, Y.Gee. Mahendra will be honoured for his work with the Philadelphia Chapter, in building a home for the mentally-challenged in Sirkazhi, Tamil Nadu, and for his half a century of service to theatre and making millions laugh.

The convention is also committed to the cause of preventing school dropouts in the villages of Tamil Nadu.

On the occasion Mahendra will stage his hit comedy, ‘Mounam Sangadam.’
