Sri Gayatri Narayana Sabha, Madurai, has released Tirukkolur Ragasiyamum and Tirukkurugur Piranaum, CD in two parts. Koodal N. Raghavan has presented in verse form the greatness of Madurakavi Azhwar, whose birthplace was Tirukkolur, one of the nine Tirupatis and a Divyadesam. It is centred on the debate Sri Ramanujar enters into with a woman who leaves Tirukkolur. The dialogue is the highlight of the book, “Tirukkolur Pennpillai Ragasiyam.”

The other audio CD is about Nammazhwar, who was born in Tirukkurugur, another Divyadesam. The Azhwar made a tamarind tree immortal tree by doing penance under the tree for 16 years. Koodal Raghavan has to his credit CDs titled “Thaene Tiruvengadam, “Tirumogur Aaidhanum Tirukkoodalazhaganum” and “Tiruvallikkeniyansir.” For details contact the Sabha at 9894063660.
