From information available and from temple inscriptions, the abode for Sri Lakshminarayana Swamy and consort Goddess Mahalakshmi, Mamundi Agraharam, a serene hamlet on the banks of River Thirumanimuthaar in Namakkal District, was dedicated to the Lord about 500 years ago.
The renovation of this temple has now been set in motion with the balalayam conducted on September 2,
The estimated cost of the works is around Rs.11 lakhs. Therefore, contributions are sought for the successful completion of renovation.
