Shraddha returns with its new production ‘Hanuman’ from July 20-23, 7 p.m., at Narada Gana Sabha. Written and directed by Sreevathson V, the Tamil play, like Shraddha’s earlier ventures, promises to give audiences a new experience.

The time it is set in is contemporary but the place remains unexplored. While too much of the plot is not being revealed, broadly it is a confrontation about a project between the Government and the makers. The cast includes R.B. Krishna, Shivaji Chaturvedi, Sreevathson, Sridhar, Balaji and Preethi Nair. The original background score is by Giridharan. ‘Hanuman’ is produced by T.D. Sundararajan and Prema Sadasivam.

The play is jointly presented by Kartik Fine Arts, Sri Parthasarathy Swami Sabha, Narada Gana Sabha and Brahma Gana Sabha.

It will also be staged on July 26 and 27, for Mylapore Fine Arts Club and Dummies Drama, at MFAC auditorium, Oliver Road, Mylapore. And on August 2 and 3, for Thyaga Brahma Gana Sabha at Vani Mahal, T. Nagar.

For tickets, contact the respective sabhas. On the days of the show, you can pick up tickets at the respective venue. Call 98402 08583 for more information.
