Sarada underwent intensive training in Kuchipudi at Potti Sriramulu Sidhendra Kala Peetham from Kuchipudi gurus like Chinta Rama Murthy and Pasumarthi Rattayya Sarma.
Sarada Ramakrishna started with a Thyagaraja keertana Sri Ganapathini Sevimparare (Sourashtra) as an invocatory dance and followed with the Pancharatna keertana Sadhinchene (Arabhi). Sarada performed two traditional Kuchipudi items. Quality music always elevates the performance of the dancer. Sarada Ramakrishna obviously has a good taste for music and proved it by taking on an excellent team to support her performance.
D.S.V.Sastri, a Kuchipudi professor in University of Hyderabad, was melodious and efficient in his vocals. The percussion team included P. Satyanarayana (mridangam), P. Anjaneyulu (violin), Kumar Babu (flute) and Haranatha Sastri morsing also gave their best.
Fine nattuvangam came from Chinta Ravibalakrishna.
The programme was inaugurated by Pinnamaneni Venkateswara Rao and Samineni Vishnuvardhana Rao. A highlight of the programme was the honouring of veteran Kuchipudi exponents Vedantam Satyanarayana Sarma, Pasumarthi Rattayya Sarma, Chinta Rama Murthy and Vedantam Radheshyam.
