Creating strokes in charcoal

STROKES – a workshop for the youth — will held by artist Priya Natarajan. She will teach the young about the art of creating pen, pencil and charcoal works. In the workshop, which will be held between May 24 and 30, Priya will teach the technique of handling the pen, pencil and charcoal mediums. Anyone above the age of 15 can learn the nuances from Priya at Silver n Springs School, R.K.Nagar, Mandaveli, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Fee is Rs.2,800 for 14 hours, inclusive of all materials.

Priya Natarajan is an artist specialising in pen and ink sketches of temples and monuments. She runs an art school li'l studio, where her students are taught different mediums through a structured programme comprising of three levels.
