School celebrates 100 years

More than a hundred girls joined the Governor of Tamil Nadu, K. Rosaiah, and V. Devasahayam, Bishop in Madras, to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the C.S.I. Ewart Matriculation Hr. Sec. School.

The school was built in 1913 by the Church of England Zenana Missionary Society, under the patronage of Miss Ewart.

Dr. Rosaiah, in his speech, congratulated the current and previous staff and student body of the school for ensuring commendable academic performance throughout the years. He also paid special recognition to the social activities of the school.
