City students shine in SSLC exams

M. Sai Roshini and Olivia Evangeline of Zion Matriculation Higher Secondary School in Indra Nagar, Selaiyur have scored 496 marks, putting them among the many students who have secured the State third rank in the SSLC class X board exams, scoring 496 marks.

Sai Roshini, daughter of P.Mani and Bhagavathi Devi scored centums in Mathematics and Social Science. Evangeline, daughter of Ravi, a State government employee and Sissy, a homemaker, scored centums in Mathematics, Social Science and English.

M. Aparajitha of Sri Sankara Vidyalaya Matriculation Higher Secondary School, East Tambaram is also a State topper, securing 497 marks with centums in Sanskrit, Science and Mathematics.

Daughter of Mohan and Prabha, both teachers of Mathematics at Ahobila Mutt Oriental School in Madurantakam and SSN College of Engineering respectively, Aparajitha said it was due to the support from her teachers and parents that she was able to score such high marks.
