Xavier School of Management (XLRI) recently hosted “Valhalla 2014” their flagship sports and cultural festival. The annual inter-B-school fest returned with its third edition featuring over 50 events ranging across sports, cultural programmes and outdoor activities. The prominent sporting events included basketball, football, table tennis, volley ball, badminton, throw ball and chess. Exciting cultural events included the stage play, fashion show, solo dance, group dance, quiz, debate, street play and solo singing. The three-day-long gala event held at XLRI Campus, Jamshedpur from July 25 to 27 witnessed a footfall of over 3,000 people and participation from some of the best B-Schools in India. The theme for Valhalla 2014 was “Celebrating Contrasts.”
