Management workshop for teachers at IIM-K

The Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode (IIM-K), will conduct a management development workshop for teachers and pioneers in school education on the IIM-K campus at Kunnamangalam in September.

The event ‘Leading schools — in search of excellence’ is conceptualised by Debashis Chatterjee, director of the institute, a release here said. The three-day programme will begin on September 18.

The workshop has been designed specifically for school teachers and educational leaders to optimise leadership and other skills required for the holistic development of students.

The workshop is meant to help teachers nurture schools as sustainable institutions of learning in a technology-driven knowledge age. It aims at giving participants insights and tools to build a learning community, and enhance their personal effectiveness, the release said.
