Officials show the documents of Christ University signing up as an Approved University Partner of IMA (Institute of Management Accountants), U.S.

Partnership

Christ University is now an approved university partner of the Institute of Management Accountants, USA (IMA), as a result of which it will offer the CMA certification to its students who study using official IMA-licensed Wiley CMAexcel Learning System. Training will be delivered by IMA’s official training partner in India, Miles Professional Education.

Conference

The Department of Management Studies, Kristu Jayanti College, organised ‘KRISYM’ - the eighth ‘International Conference on Globalisation and Changing Landscape of Business’. The two-day conference was inaugurated by Fiona Moore, Professor, School of Management, Organisation Studies and Human Resource Management, University of London, UK.

There were five keynote sessions on globalisation, which included Strategies in a Global Business Environment, Race Against Time Technology in Business, New Frontiers for International Business Research Emerging Market Firms, Changing Concepts of Culture in International Business: The View from Anthropology, and Business and Globalisation in Emerging Economies.

Teenovators

Manipal University and INK, a community that transforms imagination to impact, has come together to launch ‘Teenovators 2015’ – a national innovation challenge for students in classes 9 to 12 as well as teachers.

Teenovators 2015 is open to 400 higher secondary schools from New Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Kolkata, Pune, Hyderabad, Udupi, Manipal and Chandigarh. Each of these 400 schools will select a team of five students and one faculty member to take part in the championship. Schools are given about six months to complete the project.

The subject areas for the project can be Behavioural and Social Sciences, Earth and Environmental Sciences, Physical Sciences, Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Sciences and Life Science.
