MDIS new programme The School of Health and Life Sciences, Management Development Institute of Singapore (MDIS) has announced intake of students for MSc Health Sciences (management), awarded by Northumbria University, U.K. Those with recognised bachelor’s degree and an IELTS band of 6.5 are eligible to apply. There are 25 seats. Application fee is S$321.00; Tuition Fee: S$25,680.00 Duration: Full-time; 12-months divided into three terms. Last date for applying is August 20. Classes begin on October 20.

LSAT on May 18 Law School Admission Test —India (the LSAT-India) will be conducted on May 18, in 16 cities. More than 50 law institutions now recognise the scores as one of the admissions criteria.

Virtual Interactive Learning Programmes at XLRI Xavier School of Management has opened admissions to the Postgraduate Certificate in Business Management (PGCBM) and Postgraduate Certificate in Human Resource Management ( PGCHRM) under their Virtual Interactive Learning (VIL) Programme with Hughes Communication.

BSc in Sports Technology The School of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering at U.K.’s Loughborough University is offering B.Sc. in Sports Technology.

The students have the option of choosing a four-year sandwich course wherein they have the opportunity to pursue a full year of assessed industrial training between the second and third years of their academic studies, leading to the additional award of a Diploma in Industrial Studies (DIS).

Students with over 80 per cent overall score in Class XII are eligible for the course. The University also offers scholarship to the value of 25 per cent of the programme tuition fee for international students. The school also grants competitive scholarships on the basis of intake qualifications as well as the progress through the first year of any of the degree courses.
