A U.K. university invites students to get creative in India’s gender debate and win a scholarship worth Rs. 12 lakh.

Arts University Bournemouth’s competition titled “Who are you? – In a gender defined world” also gives class XI and XII students the opportunity to see their work ‘supersized’ on huge hoardings all over the UK. The winner will be accredited with a massive scholarship. All one needs to do is produce a piece of art that expresses them within the gender defined world they live in.

To participate in the competition, candidates can send in their entry to wayindia@aub.ac.uk latest by December 23. For further details and competition guidelines visit: aub.ac.uk/wayindia.

This competition gives the next generation of painters, film makers, actors, illustrators, animators, photographers and designers the platform that they need to succeed in their dream careers. The will be entitled to a scholarship equal to the first year fees of any Foundation or Bachelor’s level course at the Arts University Bournemouth, a prize worth over Rs. 12 Lakh.

The university will also lay a perfect platform for the top two entries to get noticed by having their work featured in a large scale hoarding advertising campaign in the U.K.

The entries will be displayed on the international stage in front of tens of thousands of people. Besides, there will be four runners-up to be awarded with a scholarship of £1,000 each to study at AUB. Twenty best entries will be part of a high profile art exhibition in New Delhi in May 2014.
