Skill development programme for MBA students

The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and Vels University, Pallavaram, have joined hands to develop programmes and initiatives to enhance the skills and knowledge of the MBA students (Supply Chain Management). A Memorandum of Agreement to work together in the field of logistics and supply chain was signed by the institutions recently in this regard. The MoA was signed by K.V. Mahidar, head, CII Institute of Logistics, and Vels University Chancellor Ishari K Ganesh.

The CII Institute of Logistics will extend academic support for the two-year postgraduate degree programme. In his address, Mr. Mahidar said the initiative would help to fill the skill gap and provide the students better career options in logistics and supply chain sector. Mr. Ishari K. Ganesh said the university provided a student-friendly learning environment.
