The Management Center Innsbruck (MCI), Austria, partners with IIT-Madras for its management programmes and its students spend a portion of their semester at IIT-Madras.

The students of the MCI visited the Sankara Nethralaya main campus and the Jaslok Community Ophthalmology Centre, recently. The students were impressed by the research, patient care, training and teaching and extensive community support rendered.

REC signs MoU

The Rajalakshmi Institutions has signed MoUs with Faber Sindoori Limited, Chennai and Aries Biomed Technology, Coimbatore.

The MoU with Faber Sindoori is for student internship, hospital training, faculty training and consultancy activities The MoU with Aries Biomed Technology will focus on student internships, innovative UG and PG projects, faculty training, joint research and consultancy activities.

CSI at SCSVMV University

Computer Society of India (CSI) Student Chapter was inaugurated by the Computer Science and Engineering department of Sri Chandrasekharendra Saraswathi Viswa Mahavidyalaya University, Kanchipuram, on April 15.

Chief guest H.R. Mohan, president, CSI, delivered the keynote address. In his address, he mentioned the importance of Big Data, advantages of this area, issues and impact of Big Data to the society, the Network Security issues, Firewalls and Intruder detections.
