Madras Institute of Fashion Technology (MFT) invites application for its full time three-year undergraduate and two year-post graduate programmes in Fashion Design and Interior Design.
The institute and the courses are approved by the Tamil Nadu State Universities such as Alagappa University (Karaikudi), University of Madras and Bharathiar University (Coimbatore). The curriculum is designed in line with the University norms. The Degree and Diploma certificates are awarded by the respective universities.
MFT in collaboration with Alagappa University offers three years full time UG Degree Programme B.Sc. (Fashion Design) and B.Sc. (Interior Design).
Candidates who have completed Higher Secondary or three-year Diploma or equivalent can join the first year. Candidates who have completed three-year Diploma in Textiles Technology or equivalent can directly join the second year Fashion Design under lateral entry scheme.
MFT in participation with University of Madras offers various UG, PG, Diploma programmes in Fashion through part-time / weekend mode.
Those who have completed Higher Secondary or three-year Diploma or equivalent can apply for the B.Sc. (Apparel Fashion Design – three-year UG Degree Programme). The candidates who have completed three-year Diploma in Textiles Technology or equivalent can apply for the above UG course through lateral entry scheme.
Those who have completed UG degrees from any recognised universities or equivalent can apply for the two-year Post Graduate course M.Sc (Textiles & Fashion Design).
