Touring Talkies coming to district

The Touring Talkies under the auspices of the Kerala State Chalachitra Academy and the Federation of Film Societies of India, heralding the 16th International Film Festival of Kerala (IFFK), will hold shows in the district from November 29 to December 3.

Besides a package of world classics, some of the outstanding films from the last edition of the IFFK and select films from the recently held international short-film and documentary film festival will be screened at different venues in the district.

Films will be screened at Meppayyur (on November 29, 30), Kozhikode City (December 1, 2), and Thamarassery (December 3). Nalanda Auditorium will be the venue in the city.

Amateur Little Cinema, Bankmen's Film Society and Saga Film Society are associating with the event.

Entry will be free.
