Those who were not quite happy with her film comeback, Dangerous Ishq, can take heart. Karishma Kapoor is not shying away from the limelight. Instead, she will now be heard on radio on weekdays. A leading radio station has offered her to host a segment on style and beauty trends for a woman’s special slot and she has readily agreed. Karishma was reportedly thrilled at the prospect of working in a new medium within the entertainment space.

Meanwhile, sister Kareena too is experimenting with a new medium – a book. Kareena’s first book Style Diary Of A Bollywood Diva is expected to be released by Penguin before year-end. The publishers have collaborated with a chain of salons to engage readers with interactive sessions as well. Kareena has reportedly revealed her beauty and style secrets, including talking about size zero and her glam Poo look in Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham!

Global recognition

Actor Anupam Kher has added another feather to his cap. Known for his brilliant roles in Indian as well as international films, Anupam’s latest global film, Silver Lining’s Playbook by David O’Russell has won a lot of critical acclaim. The ensemble cast consisting of Robert De Niro, Bradley Cooper, Jennifer Lawrence, Chris Tucker and Jacki Weaver has been nominated for outstanding performance by a cast in a motion picture at the 19th Annual Screen Actors’ Guild Award (SAG).
