Actor Piaa Bajpai, who impressed audiences in films such as Ko, Goa, Bale Pandiya and Aegan , mentions a song she shot for Dalam , a Tamil-Telugu bilingual being directed by Jeevan, among the most challenging numbers she has ever worked on.

“We shot the song at a place in Arruppukkottai that was over 3,500 feet high. Unfortunately, it was pouring and the rocks were slippery. To make matters worse, there were gusty winds. Also, the fact that I was wearing a half-sari did not make things easier. There were sequences where I had to jump from rock to rock. It was scary but thanks to a supportive team, I managed to pull it off,” says Piaa, who is simultaneously working on the remake of Sattam Oru Irruttarai .

“We are leaving for Hong Kong on September 10, where some major sequences for Sattam Oru Irruttarai are to be shot,” says the actor excitedly.

Trailer on the net

The trailer of Neethaane En Ponvasantham has received a whopping 10 lakh hits within three days of its release on the net. Director Gautham Vasudev Menon and music director Ilaiyaraja have come together for the first time for this film, which has raised expectations.

The audio of the film, which has eight songs, was recently released at a grand function organised in the city. If the claims of the producer are anything to go by, over a lakh people had booked a copy of the audio even before its release!

Deepavali blast

It will be a blast for Vijay’s fans this Deepavali, as the actor’s Thuppaki is to release on that day. Kajal Agarwal plays the female lead in the film directed by A. R. Murugadoss. While Santhosh Sivan has handled the camera, Harris Jayaraj has scored the music. Meanwhile, sources say that after Thuppaki , Vijay will begin work on his next film with director A. L. Vijay. Samantha, who missed out on director Shankar and Mani Ratnam's films, is likely to play the lead in this one.
