Rajinikanth lauded the efforts of team Joker by tweeting about the film earlier today.

In what was just his 32nd tweet, he complimented the makers of the political satire. He is also said to have called up the film’s producer, S.R. Prabhu, to appreciate his boldness in coming forward to produce this political film.
On Tuesday, actor Dhanush (Rajnikanth’s son-in-law) too had tweeted about Joker.
Team Joker has also been in the news for a unique promotional poster in which the film’s protagonist, Mannar Mannan, asked people who watched the film’s pirated version to deposit money to the maker’s bank account so they could build toilets with the proceeds.
