14 per cent of the 6129 total voters were opposed to the idea stating that ‘it sets a bad example and should be shunned.’

In last week’s poll question ‘What do you think about movies like Ae Dil Hai Mushkil that have a young man falling for an older woman?’ a majority of our readers (34 per cent of total votes) said they felt such movies should continue to get made given how there are so many movies with older men falling for younger women.

Ganesh MSK, one of our readers, commented saying, “What’s the problem in marrying someone older than you. It’s not a crime. A marriage between two people shouldn’t be judged based on their age.’

30 per cent of the voters felt such films should be made because ‘it’s merely another aspect of our society’.

However, 14 per cent of the 6129 total voters were opposed to the idea of a man falling for an older woman stating that ‘it sets a bad example and should be shunned.’
