Madhuri’s mesmeric moves

May 19, 2013 02:12 pm | Updated 07:43 pm IST

Madhuri Dixit Nene is back in full steam as she shakes a leg with Ranbir Kapoor in Yeh Jawaani Hai Diwani . Roped in for a special song to introduce Ranbir’s character in the film (no, you can’t call such songs ‘items’), it is titled Ghaghra and has all the naughtiness it requires. Ranbir has confessed that Madhuri was his first love and to see her as a mother was a rather strange feeling! But he seems to have a great time dancing with her. Incidentally, as a special gesture, the song was released on Madhuri’s 46th birthday this past week.

Accolades galore

Richa Chadda is steadily climbing the popularity charts after winning accolades for her performance-oriented roles. The Oye Lucky Lucky Oye girl has a power-packed performance in the upcoming Fukrey produced by Farhan Akhtar’s Excel Entertainment and then another Sanjay Leela Bhansali film Ram Leela . While we hear that she’s leaving no stone unturned to make the most of these big banner films and working almost 24x7 in double shifts, Richa was recently spotted in Delhi in the company of theatre legend Barry John who has honed her acting skills. The mentor and his protégé were all praise for each other.

It’s her gene pool

Priyanka Chopra has been voted as the ‘Sexiest Back in B-Town’ by a poll conducted by a popular website. In her typical tongue-in-cheek style, Priyanka thanked her gene pool and her trainers for the title! If truth be told, the actress is in her best physical form right now as she prepares to play Olympian boxer Mary Kom in her upcoming film and yoga and a balanced diet are indeed paying off.
