Writer Shagufta Rafique is all set to direct her first film. Titled Rose, the film is expected to be a gender-sensitive film about a raped housewife on the lines of Gulzar’s 1978 film Ghar. But, unlike Ghar, it is about the revenge of the rape victim, and the director is already having casting difficulties because she does not expect any Bollywood actor to play the character with conviction. Shagufta has cast Emraan as the supportive husband.
