#DearZindagi: Alia and SRK give us a riddle

Remember a while ago, it was announced that actor Alia Bhatt and the badshah of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan would be sharing screen space in English Vinglish director Gauri Shinde's next film?

Then Alia went off to film Udta Punjab , SRK had his hands full with Fan and all was quiet on the Gauri Shinde movie front.

Until now that is.

Alia and Shah Rukh had the most interesting conversation on Twitter and were trending on the social network for the better part of the evening. She also revealed the name of the film, Dear Zindagi , along the way.

Meanwhile, Karan Johar and Gauri also jumped into the fray, announcing the release dates for the movie — and with a promise that the poster would be out soon.

Karan's Dharma Productions is co-producing the film along with Khan's Red Chillies Entertainment.

While the conversation itself doesn't reveal much, it at least hints at the kind of role SRK might play in the film — maybe that of a mentor of sorts.

Earlier, there were reports that SRK might only be playing an extended cameo in the film, instead of that of the lead. “Contrary to rumours, Shah Rukh is not playing the lead. He will only be seen in a cameo,” a source from the film’s unit is reported to have told IANS.

To which Alia responded cheekily,"He’s in the film. I am doing the film with him. Don’t take it away from me."

IANS has reported that the film is a a women-centric project with three male leads. “One of the male leads is from the southern industry. The makers are closely guarding the names of the lead actors,” the report said.
