Director Eswar has a penchant for love stories laced with entertainment; he also likes to make them for a target audience; his Siddhu From Sreekakulam and Seetarama Kalyanam Lanka Lo are a case in point. He is back in action after a brief gap with Ramachari..veedo pedda goodachari starring Venu Thotempudi and Kamalini Mukerjee. This latest is a wholesome comedy but a remake of Malayalam movie CID Moosa made a few years back.

What prompted him to select a remake subject? Will a story made in 2003 work now? He replies rather confidently, “Producer Shyam and actor Venu believed in the subject and I concurred with them after seeing the film, all I did was to pack the movie with our immensely talented comedians and worked on their lingo but kept the content unchanged.”

Venu avers that he had watched the film on a working day and was scandalised to see that audience whistling and rooting for the dialogues. It was then he gave it a thought and wanted to remake it for the home crowd.

Eswar recalls that this is Venu's second movie with Kamalini Mukherji the first one being Gopi Gopika Godavari and that the duo shared a wonderful chemistry.

He adds, “This film will add value to Venu's career just as Hanuman Junction did. I think I will succeed in keeping the audience glued to their seats for a full two hours, the ensemble cast of comedians will keep the time flying and you will walk out without any complaints at the end of the show.”

The director's next project is a story by Janardhana Maharshi. The untitled venture has three actors — Jagapati Babu, Srihari and Siva Balaji playing important roles in a drama on friendship and relationships. Around 60 percent of the film has been done. Namita, Parvati Melton and Akansha Puri add glamour. The next one is a film for Usha Kiron Movies.
