What they say
Producer S. Nayagam: I am a retired government employee, belonging to Cuddalore District. I am new to the film industry, but am passionate about films. When the director asked me to partner this production, I was happy to oblige because I liked the story and the screenplay.
Director Andal Ramesh: I worked as an associate to directors Santhanabharathi and R.N.R.Manohar. This is my first Tamil movie and it is an out-and-out entertainer about family values, sentiment and love.
As the screenplay showcases traditional Tamil culture in a contemporary context, the audience is sure to enjoy the movie. Though the lead players are newcomers, who have essayed their roles well. I too play an important role and even written a song. The climax is very different from the usual.
Hero G. Silambarasan: I come from Neyveli District. This happens to be my first movie. I play the role of a cook in it. The director conducted a workshop and we had several rehearsals which enabled me to portray my character with ease.
Music Director Vasanthamani : My first film was Madavanum Malarvizhiyum . I was an assistant to maestro Ilayaraja and have worked with music director Sirpy. I worked hard and composed more than 50 tunes for the movie and director Aandal Ramesh selected the five best from among them. I’ve been receiving a good response to my songs.
