The cute and exuberant Anisha Ambrose confesses to having butterflies in her stomach on the eve of her debut release Alias Janaki . Meanwhile, her second film Arerey has already gone on sets. So how has the industry treated her? She quips, “So far the ride has been wonderful. It was like working in some college play, got so friendly with the unit. I am enjoying the attention and the love being given to me, they have given me a fan page. I just hope everyone likes my work and I hope I don’t let myself down.”

Awaiting big break

Sree Sudha has a Masters degree in physiotherapy. The actor from Guntur worked in 25 Telugu films so far and is waiting for a big break. She shot to fame as a domestic maid in Ravi Babu’s Avunu . Since then there has been no looking back. “True, there were only 4 or 5 characters in the story and I got one of the best characters. I worked in Okkadine and in Shadow too,” she adds. An accomplished Kuchupudi dancer, she was introduced to the film industry by K. Vishwanath during the making of Devasthanam . She signs off, “Financial crisis and the urge to be famous brought me here.”

In awe of Vamsi

Comedian Duvvasi Mohan prefers to be called a character artiste. He’s just finished Paisa , and is all praise for director Krishna Vamsi. He remarks, “Krishna Vamsi is an extraordinary technician. Every shot of his is exemplary Duvvasi plays a corrupt and irresponsible constable with Raja Ravindra; he is a character who’s ready to go any length for money in the police department. Duvvasi says he is forever waiting to be a part of Krishna Vamsi’s films.

Heading to the US

Bangkok beauty Pinky Savika is all set to wrap up her debut film Yemo Gurram Egaraavocchu . Produced by Cherry Films Pvt Ltd, directed by Chandra Siddarth and produced by Pudhota Sudheer Kumar, it has Sumanth playing the lead role. The shooting is currently on at Ramoji Film city. The cast and crew is set to fly to the for their audio launch. But why in the US? Pinky says, “Half of the film has been shot there and I am a working woman in USA.”
