What they say…

Producer and director Ramanarayanan: I have made a number of comedy films in the past, but not many of late. So I decided to make one now as I felt this is the right time for such films. As far as the story is concerned, I took a leaf out of the film industry. Two youths come to Chennai in search of an opportunity to become music directors. The hurdles they face in the process are told in a comical way. Gangai Amaren has played an important role in this laugh riot.

Hero Vishnupriyan: I was introduced to the silver screen by Adoor Gopalakrishnan and have done nearly four films in Malayalam and seven in Tamil, which includes Ayanar, Ninaithalay Inikkum and Thotta . I also played the lead in Ilakkanam and Mai. Director Ramanarayanan who released Mai was impressed with my performance in it and offered me this movie.

Music director Srikanth Deva: It was a dream-come-true to score the music for director Ramanarayanan’s film. We set aside a week for composing. But on the very first day itself, we finished three songs at a stretch. He was very happy. Working on this movie will always be an experience to cherish because of two other persons — Vijaya T. Rajender and Gangai Amaren. T.R. has sung a song and Gangai Amaren has a powerful role.
