The makers of a horror flick have claimed that they had completed the shooting of the film in 12 hours, saying it was a first-of-its kind initiative in sixty years of Tamil cinema.

“It was tough to complete the shooting starting at 6 pm and finishing at 6 am the next day,” the film’s director, Puthugai Marisa, was quoted as saying in a release.

The horror script, involving the adventures of three couples staying at a haunted bungalow en-route to a wedding is titled ‘Nadu Iravu’ (Midnight).

Earlier, a multi star-cast Tamil film titled ‘Suyamvaram’ was shot in 24 hours by various technical teams in 1999.
