It looks like this year will be a big one for Kamal Haasan. Even as his much-awaited Viswaroopam 2 is scheduled for release later this year, the actor is set to debut on the small screen and host the Tamil version of Bigg Boss in Vijay TV.
The show, which is hosted by Salman Khan in Hindi, will see the coming together of 15 celebrities in a posh house with all amenities but completely cut off from technology and the outside world.
In an official statement, Kamal Haasan is quoted as saying, “When Vijay TV approached me to play host, I funnily quipped , who better than me right? All my life have been under a constant watch and I have been judged on whatever I have done, public or private. But now, the roles are reversed as I would stand with the audience and watch these celebrities in the house survive this ordeal.”
Bigg Boss will kickstart on June 18 and will air at 9 pm Monday to Sunday and 8.30 pm on weekends
