If the Marvel films were feel-good pop songs of the Taylor Swift variety, DC’s upcoming Justice League feels a lot like their grittier, heavy metal cousin. And we’re not saying that just because of the rock star treatment meted out to the trailer that was released on Saturday night.
Justice League sees the coming together of Batman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Aquaman and Cyborg to save the world from Steppenwolf and the Parademons who are after something called the Mother Boxes on earth.
Critics have already rated the trailer as being better than the entire Batman v Superman film, with The Verge calling Aquaman (Khal Drogo!) as someone to hang their “hopes on”, after the debacle of Batman v Superman .
