Actor Peter Dinklage, set for the release of his upcoming sci-fi comedy ‘Pixels’, says he doesn’t want to “bore” his audience with repetitive roles.

The 46-year-old actor, who is famous for his portrayal of Tyrion Lannister, said he likes to mix things up in terms of choosing roles.

“It’s my job now for five to six years and it’s a pretty serious show ( Game of Thrones) . I don’t like to bore myself in terms of pitching all of myself for repeating anything. I love to jump into something like this.

“It’s such a joy to mix it up. I don’t want to bore my audience and even myself by repeating my roles. The last thing you want when you do Game of Thrones is something Game of Thrones -like and you get a lot of those offers and I am like ‘I am good’.. So when something like this ( Pixels ) comes along, it’s a no-brainer, and working with these guys is great,” Dinklage said in a statement.

Directed by Chris Columbus, the man behind classics like Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets , Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone , Home Alone and Mrs. Doubtfire , the Sony Pictures’ film also stars Adam Sandler, Kevin James and Josh Gad.
