Beatles reunite to mark 10th anniversary of “Love” show

Sir Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr were also tagged along with the band’s frontman John Lennon’s widow

The Beatles members Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr rejoined on tenth anniversary celebration of Cirque du Soleil’s Beatles-themed show, “Love“ on Thursday night in Las Vegas.

The show was a hit collaboration between the French- Canadian circus troupe and The Four Brothers who changed the entire music era after their rock n roll and pop compositions hit the floors in the early 1960s, reported Variety .

Thank you all, says McCartney

“Thank you all for being here,” said Sir McCartney (74), who was accompanied by his wife, Nancy Shevell.

The two surviving members were also tagged along with the band’s frontman John Lennon’s widow, Yoko Ono as well as several other family members and friends.

‘Show just gets better and better’

Sir McCartney and Mr. Starr joined the cast onstage at the end of the event to thank them. Sir McCartney said, “This fantastic show just gets better and better.”

The music director of the show, Giles Martin, shared the stage with Sir McCartney and Mr. Starr and recalled his father, George Martin. “My dad passed away this year, and I miss him. John is not here, George is not here but the music lives on because of you guys,” he said.

The event was also attended by Ron Howard, who has directed the upcoming “Eight Days a Week: The Touring Years”, a documentary about the first half of The Beatles’ career, which is slated for September release.
