Apple's iPhone X now has an Indian connection, and a most fun one at that. The phone has a new advertisement for its Face ID unlock, featuring music composed by the legendary R.D. Burman for the 1980 film The Burning Train. The track in the advertisement, titled 'Bang Bang', was produced by Peter Cannon, and caused furore when netizens pointed out the missing credit for Burman. However, Cannon cleared the air on it later, tweeting: "It was cleared/licensed via Blurred Recs courtesy of Saregama. Everyone is on board and loves it."
The Burning Train , directed by Ravi Chopra, had an ensemble cast including Dharmendra, Hema Malini, Vinod Khanna, Parveen Babi, Neetu Singh among others. The music used by Peter Cannon for the Apple advertisement is taken from the song 'Meri Nazar Hai Tujh Pe' (My eyes are on you).
The defining factor of the iPhone X is its Face ID unlock feature. Most Android phones will have to wait until 2019 to duplicate the 3D sensing feature behind Apples Face ID security, reported Reuters. With a 5.8-inch super retina screen and the TrueDepth camera, the iPhone X claims that its Face ID is so secure that one can use it with Apple Pay.
