Superstar Rajinikanth is working overtime to ensure that work on Lingaa is completed at the earliest. In fact, it is said that the actor has created a record of sorts recently – by dubbing for his portions within 24 hours! The Superstar has also reportedly personally requested all the technicians to work hard towards the release of the film, slated for December 12 (which happens to be Rajinikanth’s birthday).

Work on this much-anticipated film, directed by K. S. Ravikumar, is mostly finished, except for the filming of a couple of songs. These two – the introductory number for the Superstar and a duet with the heroine, Sonakshi Sinha – will be canned by the team, post Deepavali.

While the former is to be shot in Hong Kong, Macau and France, the duet will be canned in Hyderabad. All the songs for this project have been composed by Oscar-winner A.R. Rahman.
