The murder of a Trinamool Congress worker at Sabang in Paschim Medinipur district ahead of the second phase of voting on April 11, has raised the political temperature in West Bengal.

Joydeb Jana (30) was killed at Dubrajpur allegedly by Opposition party workers when he was returning home after campaigning. His wife has lodged a complaint with the police against Congress MLA Manas Ranjan Bhunia and several others.
