@Pradeep : Believe in excellence. Success will then become obvious. Even Arpit wouldnot have studied thinking of 1st rank. 1st ranks happen because of chance, even 1 mark less Arpit would have come 2nd. So make a target of let say " I want to be in Top 100" rather I would like to get Rank 1. Work on this line and always be serious and genuine in your preps.
Remember: IITJEE is a exam where real brilliance matters a lot. Hard work becomes secondary. That is why, in such exams, once done with your fundamentals you are done. You neednot sit back right before exam cramming all stuff. That is why Arpit watched movie on the eve before exam to relax his brain. Keep doing hard work. Success will be yours.
wish u .a best wishes brother!!!!!..
@Pradeep Kumar Try to reset your priorities. Setting target of Rank 1 will create unnecessary burden and often students crumble under stress. Try to be great at what you know, be methodic in your preparation, take care of your state of mind and psychology. If it has to happen , it will happen. Dont stress over it. Do it for yourself not to show off to people that I got rank 1, rank2. That is just what is wrong with the family and peer pressures in our society. Wishing you best mate. - For the record i went to iit.
congraluattion Arpit Agarwal.May God bless u more and more. Remember this is your first step, climb with humility, sky is the limit.
@Pradeep, which type of books I should read and how should read. It is how you prepare for the exam. Your hard work and dedication will carry the day for you! There is no magic book that the topper has read. He has referred to same books as everyone. And you can get the list of books from any message board.
Congrats buddy :)
Congrats Arpit You made everyone proud. I wish you all the best and keep climbing up and up. God Bless. I am feeling very happy for your parents as they are blessed with a gifted son like you.
Good luck & God bless you to bring glory to our nation... we are proud of you !!
I humbly submit that we glorify ALL types of winners, and not only IIT JEE ones. And as for you Arpit, follow your dreams, where ever they take you. Be it the US/Europe or the moon. Anything you do will help India anyways. And given that Indian systems are trash anyways, where tainted ministers swim in a pool of cash and women are burnt for dowry, you are better off away anyways.
@ Karthik, Please check your facts. Lot of IITians stay in India after graduation. May leave to pursue MS/Phd program because of lack of research infrastructure in Indian universities (including IITs). Even if one stays in India and work for a US/Europe company are you serving your country? If someone goes abroad for work will that person not serving country by sending money back?
good job shiv,u have not make urself to feel proud but also ur parents ur family and above all ur teachers
Congratulations to Mr. Agarwal.I wonder how Super 30 of Bihar faired this year?

bst u luck for ur future

Congratulations Arpit. This is a great milestone in your life. Remember to serve India with your great talent!

Congrats Arpit, Study well and contribute to our country. Do not run
away to the US/Europe like how IITians usually do.
