The final of the Trans-Tasman series between New Zealand and Australia will be played at the Eden Park in Auckland, with New Zealand Cricket backing the stadium, despite criticism that it is too small to host international fixtures.

The first of five Monday fixtures scheduled for this Bundesliga season didn’t go about smoothly as kick-off was delayed with German football fans protesting against the idea.
On the field, Eintracht Frankfurt defeated RB Leipzig 2-1, climbing to the third spot in the process.
Immobile ends goal drought with a brace
For someone on the top of the goalscoring charts, a month and a half without a goal is a long time. Ciro Immobile broke his drought from January 6 with two goals in Lazio’s 2-0 victory over Hellas Verona.
The victory, which saw Immobile take his Serie A season-leading tally to 22 goals, helped Lazio end a three-match losing run and move into the fourth spot in the table.
