Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) on Friday said the Centre had appointed Sushobhan Sarkar as Managing Director with immediate effect.
Prior to his elevation, he was Executive Director (International Operations) handling LIC's global business in Fiji, Mauritius, Kenya, Nepal, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain (covering GCC counties), the U.K., Sri Lanka and Singapore. He had also served as Director and CEO of LIC MF AMC.
