Manipal Technologies Ltd (MTL), a print solutions company, has announced the process of merging its packaging businesses with Utility Printpack Pvt Ltd., a packaging solutions provider. The combined entity, to be called Manipal Utility Packaging Solutions Pvt Ltd. (MUPL), will have manufacturing operations in Manipal, Ahmedabad and Chennai. It will leverage on Manipal packaging business presence in Kenya and Nigeria, MTS said in a release.
Gautham Pai, Managing Director of MTL said in the release that “Packaging solutions is identified as one of our high growth businesses for the future, and we aspire to build a global packaging business spanning emerging markets in Asia, Africa and Middle East.”
