Indian Bank hikes lending rates

Public sector Indian Bank has revised the Benchmark Prime Lending Rate (BPLR) by 0.25 per cent with immediate effect.

The Chennai-headquartered bank has revised its BPLR from 14.25 per cent to 14.50 per cent per annum, a bank statement here said.

The Base rate has been revised by 0.25 per cent from the existing rate of 10 per cent to 10.25 per cent per annum with immediate effect, it added.
