The Kolkata-based Hotel Hindustan International is now expanding its footprint by entering Maharashtra with the launch of a new property in Pune.

The Pune hotel is due to open shortly following government compliance. This is the fifth hotel from the HHI Group.

Chairman and Managing Director of the HHI Group, D. K. Jaiswal, said, “We are delighted to add Pune to HHI's footprint and it is our first entry into Maharashtra. This is the fifth property from the HHI Group,” he said.

The HHI Pune, a five-star property, is considered an important milestone in the brand's growth, which has plans to further increase its national footprint. A hotel in Goa is also in the pipeline.
