Healthcare start-up at T-Hub raises $150,000

Life Circle Health Services, being incubated at T-Hub in the city has tied up with Groupe SOS, which besides investing will also share know-how with the start-up. It has raised $150,000.

Hyderabad: Home nursing and professional care giving service provider Life Circle Health Services, being incubated at T-Hub in the city, has raised an investment of $150,000 from Groupe SOS.

Stating that Groupe SOS is Europe’s leading senior healthcare service provider, a release from Life Circle Health Services said that the funds would help deepen its services in Hyderabad market as well as to expand to the National Capital Region. Apart from the investment, Groupe SOS would also share technical know-how and international best practices.

Groupe SOS’ Founder President Jean-Marc Borello said the service provider has over 30 years of experience in France where elder health care services are among the best in the world.

In 20 cities by 2020

Life Circle Founder and CEO Anant Kumar said that the start-up had provided more than 1,50,000 hours of professional care-giving services so far. The company would soon launch its services in New Delhi as part of its aim to expand to 20 cities in the country by 2020.

The company, he said, provides trained and verified caregivers, “creating a continuum of care, imparting work-related training and psychological counselling to the caregivers to manage burnouts and providing flexible caregiver engagement to seniors.”

T-Hub’s founder and CEO Srinivas Kollipara said that innovation in healthcare was growing in leaps and bounds and the incubator was proud to support the Life Circle.
