Global market leader in finished lubricants Shell Lubricants on Thursday said it was aligning its India product offering with its global lubricants portfolio.

This would lead to the introduction of Shell’s range of synthetic lubricants as well as availability of high quality customised lubricants for CNG vehicles.

Addressing a press conference here, Donald Anderson, Country Head-Lubricants, Shell India, said: “Aligning with the global portfolio while remaining sensitive to Indian customers essentially means launching products across a range of viscosities to suit Indian climatic conditions. We are introducing a customised lubricant for CNG vehicles. Our new synthetic lubricants range will also be available for the first time in India for higher quality engines.”

“India is one of the highest potential markets in the world and the launch of the Shell enhanced products portfolio reiterates our strong commitment towards India,” he added. The new product range will comprise some new products and some upgraded formulations to better serve Indian customers with a global range of world-class products.
